Hey guys. So I have a male glider about 2 years old. Unfortunatley, he has been dificult to bond with. (I've had him for almost a year)
Today, he went a little crazy and decided it would be a great idea to jump out of his cage and run all the way to the living room. Before he did, his tail went all twitchy. Kinda like a squirrel tail. Has anyone seen this with their suggie? What do you think it could mean?

P.S. I would love to see the cat-like movements on my babies one day, but this was a lot faster than that. Any help would be beneficial! Thank you. (:

Mine have done this during hunting and when they are up to no good. And excited about it.

While in hunting mode they will start with a slow movement, but just before they pounce the tail twitches.

I'm glad you were able to catch him!

Mine do this sometimes when they seem spooked in the cage. If I put something new in they seem to look at it from different angles and approach slowly, retreat, then approach again, etc. Their tail sticks up and waves back and forth at the tip like a snake or something lol.

Like Dawn, mine do that whenever they get excited. Usually, to me, this means they're about to 'explore.'
