So, this morning when I awoke and sat up in bed, I was peeking into the girl's cage at my feet when all the sudden Dot flew out of what seemed "no where", and jumped on the cage bars at me.

Now it was 0345hrs. She came from the floor... But when I sat up, I didn't see her anywhere. I had an old pouch rolled back and sitting on the foor of the cage as a place for them to chill out during the night. It had a blankie in it. Dot laid the blanket over the opening nice and neat, and apparently was waiting, watching from inside.

If I weren't still half asleep, I might have screamed, maybe even lost bladder control... It wouldn't be the first time they have caught me off guard like that.

I always thought I startle them sometimes when I go near their cage, and they jump around. Till now.

Anyone else have that experience?

Mine occasionally like to jump from 'somewhere' as I open the door. All I get the chance to see is the small furry version of an Alien facehugger flying for me through the door.

Even funnier when they do it & miss... they look so bewildered.

Hey wait, they trust us by giving us facehugs? They jump rught at our mouths, right? Or are they aiming for the eyes?...

Going by the aim of my fur-turds... they just aim for whatever is in their way & hope for the best. *shrug*

Ambush!!! Yea, especially with the free-roaming crew over at TwoDog's place, you go in there knowing that you could be boarded at any moment. His place has high ceilings and a rafter, so the gliders can get a good angle for surprise attacks.
