I just saw a website that sells bee pollen as a supplement for gliders (alongside vitamins, calcium, ...) For people whithout pollen allergies, bee pollen is amongst the healthiest stuff ever, so I'd think with the protein, amino acids, vitamins and minerals it would be a good thing. However, that site also sells things that seem to be under dispute by some glider experts like glider pellets, ROASTED meal worms, ambrosia nectar and other things. http://www.callejean.com/handc/Opinions?

I use bee pollen, not as any type of supplement, but as a nice flavouring to sprinkle on top of my suggies' food.
They LOVE it!
And you're totally right about the benefits of it, it's wonderful stuff!

I am allergic to pollen and bees but have always bought the bee pollen for my gliders. They love it! I get it and the Acacia gum at exoticnutrition.com

My vet recommended me to add in Bee Pollen to My High Protein Wombaroo mix I feed them nightly as it is a natural form of calcium. They love it. Discovered they like the Spanish Bee Pollen more so than the Australian pollen by mistake! I have also fed Roasted Waxworms before, my gliders loved these too. Many places will offer pellet food, just dont buy it if it isnt something you feed. Callejean has been around for quite some time. Never heard anything bad of her or her business so ordering from her should be no problem.
