https://photos.app.goo.gl/mdJql5mfg2WY5DTz1I don't know how to put text with the pictures but here is a real basic decription of my descent into wheel madness...
I started at home depot and I ran into a lady employee and took the chance of describing the project I was trying. She actually suggested the fidget spinners because of the cheap bearings. So I picked a few of them up and went to construction junction for some inspiration. I bought a white bucket and a blue water bottle (the kind used in office water coolers). I decided to go with the white bucket first.
so I tried snipping the ridges and ended up having to grind them down. then it was the process of tryin to find the center of the circle. as you can see I practiced on paper and was already failing so I just did it my way and it seemed to work. Next I had to mess with the spinner to get it to fit and then everything just got out of control. glue wasn't working so I used this unknown goo stuff. and the spinner is actually made to spin horizontally and doesn't do well vertically, oh well. I never planned on actually using it with the ladies because of all the unknowns as far as chemicals and stuff but it did teach me a few lessons. I'm still going to try with the blue water bottle but not for a while, that was exhuausting. Oh like I said before when I held the wheel horizontally and spun it with my hand it wento for over two and a half minutes which i thought was kind of neat.
