Hello everyone!
I have a question about joeys. It's the only thing I haven't found in all my time researching suggies.
I read somewhere that you should take out all but one sleeping pouch when the joeys are oop. The reason made sense, but I never found any information on when you start putting the pouches back. I've been trying to find an answer to this with no success.
Also what's the best way to switch pouches while you have joeys? The pouch they are in is starting to get a little nasty.
Thanks for any information you guys have and have an awesome day!

You keep one pouch in the cage until the joeys are about 7 to 8 weeks old. That way mom and dad don't move into another pouch without them.

As far as swapping out dirty pouches, you should have some fleece blankets cut up, just move them to a new pouch with the stinky blankets and after a couple days change the blankets for clean one.
