Hey everyone, Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Shana. I first saw gliders a few years back and fell in love. I still do not own any, but have done a lot of research and know what I want to purchase when it comes to cages, diet, toys, etc. I'm just here to snoop around and see what else I can learn.

Hi! I live in SW Missouri when we are home. Near Joplin. Right now we are in the wilds of Alabama working on Walmart stores(we are contractors and upgrade servers, cabling, etc). I would look into a good cage. Preferably one that is powder coated. Gliders live up to 15 years, so a good quality cage is important. I bought my Sturdy cage at Suncoast sugar gliders: https://www.sugar-gliders.com/glider-cages/12-sturdy-sugar-glider-cage.htmlExotic Nutrition carries good cages too: https://www.exoticnutrition.com/Departments/Cages/Glider-Cages.aspxI thought they carried the DCN cage which is popular, but I didn't see it on their website. I do not recommend their food, but their cages are really nice. I feed Critterlove plus and Happy Glider pellets as a daytime snack. critterlove.com toys, pouches and cage sets: Look for fleece on fleece pouches. Some people use cotton, and I don't recommend that. Cotton doesn't last long before it gets holes and will catch nails.

Good advice given by all who posted, and we are very glad you are here.
Just want to add a note about Exotic Nutrition.
Yes, they do have good cages for sugar gliders, however, I suggest you listen to members and pick another staple for their main diet. You will find in your research, there are other choices that have much better ratings by gliders (because they eat and thrive on them) as well as their owners
