A few months ago, I purchased new screen for my magnum( was metal, decided to go with plastic mesh, so now it's a stealth) from Atticworks along with a set of nail trimmers.

The nail trimmers only came with plastic backed sandpaper and nylon nuts and bolts. No plastic mesh backing.

When I installed the trimmers on the outside of the wheel, there was a gap and it didn't fit well, so I put the old mesh backer on it so it sat flush.

Anyone else having this issue? Or did I install it incorrectly? I don't want the sandpaper to have full contact inside the wheel to their feet.

My newest addition Stewie doesn't like it at all and I've had to take it out, but was just curious.

No, I haven't. I just figured I did it wrong. My bad for not following through. I did go to their website just now and it looks like he is selling out. Wish I had the time and $$$.....

I apply the sandpaper outside the mesh of the wheel itself so their pads only come into contact with the mesh but their nails hit the sandpaper. The plastic bolts/nuts hold the sandpaper to the mesh -- obviously, nut on the outside.
