That is possible, hes a little dramatic at times He isn't, he's caged with his breeding partner.

It sounds like he may be having a seizure. A video would definitely help, but I can 'see' some of what happens to my Merlin in what you're describing.

I’ve tried getting one, I can’t catch him doing it. I’ll keep trying. Anyone else’s gliders make the chatter noise? He’s the only one of our 6 that does and it just started within the last month. sounds like human teeth chattering when cold.

Anyone else’s gliders make the chatter noise? He’s the only one of our 6 that does and it just started within the last month. Sounds like human teeth chattering when cold. Mine chatter a lot. Especially now that I have one separate from the other two. They are talking to each other, or to me. Usually it seems to mean happy or being content. The girls use it sometimes while in heat. Like they are flirting. They didn't start that until Stewie was mature. And Stewie seems to react by chattering back. I understand how difficult it is to capture their behavior. Mine have two distinct behaviors that some people think I'm imagining... . It's frustrating because when I see them do this, I just stand there dumbfounded... And my trio are camera shy... Too many flashes I suppose... So you may want to know what mine are doing? They slap each other and pat things. I had Stewie slap something out of my hand once. He pats hubby's beard too. Their other behavior is what I'm gonna call the "Jailbird shuffle". Instead of raking a tin cup across the cage bars like a prisoner would to get attention, they climb up the side of the cage and rake their cloatia (their butt) back and forth. It's so comical!
Dawn Be patient, and Trust your journey.... Grace Ruby Mom Fiona, Dot, Stewie and Dad Wish I could turn back time... Miss you all...

Dawn, for each of those behaviors at least one of mine do them, so I fully believe what you're describing! Gwynevere will slap an offering from my hand if she doesn't want it & I offer the same thing twice. Arthur is the butt dragger (sometimes the girls too, but much less often). Merlin likes to pet things outside the cage before deciding to climb on them. Both of you are right, though... they do not cooperate for video. Ever. wvglidermomma, I really hope your fuzzbutt is just getting excited about the twins & that I am wrong! When he does the stretch/nosedive/chattering, does it seem like he's stiff or clutching really hard to the surface he lands on?

Does he have a bald spot on his chest? He may be marking his territory. If he knows he's gonna be a Daddy, he would be establishing his territory to keep others away. You belong to him too.
