Tomorrow morning I am having an operation that's called a De Quervian Release. De Quervain's tenosynovitis is a painful condition that affects the tendons on the thumb side of your wrist. If you have de Quervain's tenosynovitis, it will probably hurt when you turn your wrist, grasp anything or make a fist. Symptoms include pain and swelling near the base of your thumb, difficulty moving your thumb and wrist when you're doing something that involves grasping or pinching.
Treatments thus far included rest, ice packs, splinting, anti-inflammation medication, and cortisone injections. The injections (3) are not working anymore so tomorrow's the day to get it fixed. Hopefully I won't be out of commission for long. Right wrist and I am right handed so it will be challenging!
I will be filling orders for my Custom Cage Liners but there will be a delay of possibly 2 weeks.
