If I have no intention to fix my male in my breeding pair and need to remove the joeys, at how many weeks should I remove female joeys and male joeys respectively?

Thanks

They can be weaned by 8 wks oop. 10 weeks is better.

Watch your parents after 8 weeks. I am not a breeder, however I have read here and other places, and each of mine were 8-12 weeks oop when I got them.

Hope you plan to keep siblings separate once pulled from parents. Sexual maturity usually happens at 12 weeks oop I believe.

I agree with Dawn about keeping all male and female joeys separate from parents as well as each other, however, I think sexual maturity happens a little later than 12 weeks. Click here for more information on sexual maturity. It is about halfway down the page. You may also be interested in our Sticky at the top of the Behavior & anatomy forum titled Glider Anatomy.

ETA: All males mature at different ages, however, twelve weeks, IMO would be an exception. Watch for the scent glands to start showing.

I have had joeys start getting their bald spot at 12 weeks.
