We're in SC. 33 cases so far
Heading home to SW Missouri Friday with 5th wheel in tow. We will have 1 fuel stop per day, will take us 3 days. 900 miles... If campgrounds are closed, we can boondock....
Once we're home, we'll quarantine for 14 days.
We have plenty of food for all of us for awhile...
Prayers everyone gets through this....

I actually went back to work Monday through Wednesday, be I am off today and tomorrow because of weather. Hopefully will go back on Monday. I am alone for the most part, except when the guys pick up their scale tickets.
Mary is hoping they will shut down the preschool. They are down a lot of kids and basically, in my opinion, they should have been shut down when they closed the other public and private schools.

Thanks Karen!!! We getting ready to start day 3 of travel. I made reservations(5 days ago) at KOA in West Memphis just in time. They were full. We traveled through downtown Atlanta at 4pm on a Friday... I would say only about 1/3 of the traffic we normally encounter. On Saturday we went through Birmingham and Memphis. Except for semi's the car count was about half of normal. We stopped at rest areas and use our own potty, fuel with rubber gloves on, and only eat what we're hauling in the 5th wheel. I'll be glad to get home today!!!!!

Glad everyone is staying safe. I'm very sorry for those who are out of work. Mechnut, hopefully your doctor will get you set up with an appointment to get your foot looked at and get you some meds. I know our dentists here are not doing anything but emergency procedures, and I think it is probably the same pretty much everywhere. Doctors are asking people not to schedule appts unless it is absolutely necessary.
My DIL is a nurse in the neurology intensive care here, however, when they are low on patients they are asked to help in other areas. They have seven children and only live ten minutes from us, but because I am at high risk, we have not seen them for quite some time.
Supply of household goods are almost impossible to get here for seniors as I have no doubt they are everywhere. Some I have managed to get on line but shipping/arrival is unsure. I have a feeling we may get some items after this is all over (like toilet paper) We still make a list and hubby goes out about once a week to get what he can.
So is anyone battling a mild case of depression or more like the blues You would think with all this down time, I would be getting so much done around the house or even outside Speaking of outside .... RAIN - ENOUGH ALREADY.
Yep, we are both retired and used to puttering around, spending time with the grands when they are not in school, family meals, shopping, etc. Even Stella, our little dog, is sleeping more than usual (think she is putting on a few pounds too).
So that is what's going on at our house

Karen, Walmart is setting up an early senior citizen day. Seniors can come in and shop before general public. For my mom it's Tuesday. It gives you a chance to shop what came off the truck the night before.
You can call your local store to see if/when they schedule for you.

Thanks, Dawn. I have heard that. For us we were told it as 6 am for Walmart and 8 am for Dollar General. Honestly I haven't seen 6 am since our trip to the beach last year, and that was the day we left here because the grands were so excited 8 am ... at least it is light outside
Need to double check about the Walmart though. Might be a Hubby Trip
We are in fairly good shape for right now. I think it is the restrictions more than anything. Still, we are so blessed in many ways.

well 3rd ( or is it 4th ) different meds for my foot it mostly cleared up but the toes keep swelling and they watching that cause it not pretty lol. ( i am going back to work Thursday but limited to a 10-6 shift cause of my wife's job) I can barely wear the proper boots for work so it will be fun ( prolly end up told to just stay home ( which I gained over 5 lb since I been home) I need to work lol ) been working on some simple design in 3d printer software to make spider scoops for wife and her friend for their tarantulas. I ma next going ot try it in the more advance software I got for my pc to see if i can make it even fancier since the basic design was simple.

Glad to hear your foot is mostly cleared up with the new meds BUT you need to be careful not to aggravate it too much trying to wear the proper boots. You might end up right back where you started I do understand your need to work, however you don't want to run the risk of getting into a worse situation than you were before. Okay, Mom warning done
Stay safe and as far away from people as possible when at work
