I am so very sorry for your loss. I am sorry she passed but glad she was in her hands where she knew she was loved. You are a good Glider owner...don't ever doubt that. Many hugs and prayers being sent your way.

Oh Ellen, I am so sorry! How wonderful that she waited to tell you goodbye with a gentle kiss. As a former nurse also, I saw this happen with patients, they just have to tell somene very special to them good bye. I know you will hold her in your heart and memories until you meet again one day. I take great comfort in knowing in my heart that all our beloved gliders are in a place of joy and peace, and are well and whole, at the bridge taking care of each other until that special day they spot us. I am keeping you and your family, both gliders and humans in my thoughts and prayers. Angie

Oh Ellen, I'm so very sorry! I know we talked about your experience with the aflatoxins after I lost Jeepers. You talked about that fear of what you'll find each time to enter the glider room. I know that feeling now. Molly had a wonderful 6 years with you and you with her. You and Bruce did such a good job taking care of her and all the others. They will be waiting for you at the bridge. Until then, they will be playing and romping with Jeeps.

Thank you all so much. It's just hitting me now.
But Lucy, remember when Bruce was hand feeding Maggie? That is her sister. The odd think I thought Maggie would go first since she was a rejected Joey. Guess Bruce did a good job huh? Molly just looked so healthy. But boy did I love that last kiss from her.

Oh, Ellen! My heart breaks reading of Molly’s passing. At least she died in the warmth of your hands and of your love, and was able to tell you in her own special way how much she loved and appreciated her time with you.

Ellen, I am so sorry to hear of your loss of Molly. I know you must have loved her very much and will miss her terribly. But I also know she will be waiting for you to meet her on the other side of the bridge. Even though it will be painful, think of her often and think of her long so as not to forget your memories of her. For one day, maybe a long time from now, the two of you will be together again with all of the others you have loved that are gone, and the reunion will be a sight to see!!! So sleep well for now Miss Molly, sleep well.

Oh Ellen, I'm so very very sorry for the loss of Molly. I know how hard it is to lose one of your babies and how much that final look or kiss means. I know she held on so she could give it to you one last time and that she is now healthy and happy across the bridge. THE RAINBOW BECKONS In loving memory of my angels who have crossed over the rainbow bridge The rainbow has beckoned It’s calling you home To meadows and forest In which you may roam My heart it grows heavy To think you might leave I’d be all alone then Alone then to grieve I know deep inside me That you cannot stay The pain that you’re feeling Grows more night and day You look at me asking In your silent way To let you go home now “Please let me” you say You say there’s no pain there No fear and no hate Just peace and well being Once you’re through the gate You tell me you’ll always Hold me in your heart That time and that distance Can’t keep us apart And if I should need you At my side you’ll be Tho I cannot see you You’ll be there with me You promise to wait at the rainbow for me To wait `til I join you Together to be I just want to hold you And beg you to stay To ask please don’t leave me Alone on this day Yet deep in my heart know I must let you go You must make the journey now to the rainbow I bow down my head then The tears fill my eyes I give you my blessing My love now to fly So fly to the rainbow And wait there for me Some day I will join you Together to be by: Chris Hamann

Miss E, I'm so very sorry for your loss. As others have said, Molly lived a great life with you and she's happily playing at the Rainbow Bridge now. I hope that with some time you'll be able to fondly remember her with a smile, rather than tears and pain. She's at peace. I will pray for the little family that is surely missing her and for their Mommy and Daddy, too. (((BIG HUGS)))
You have my number....call me if you want to talk.
~Rischa~ My Sugar Babies Photos & Videos Rest peacefully until I see you at the bridge, Sweet Lillian. Mommy, Daddy, and brother Philip miss you terribly.

Ellen, I hope that the peace you know she is in now will help soften the pain of your loss. God Bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Both two legged and four legged.

Once again thank you all. Chris that poem you wrote just was so wonderful. I hate to admit that I cry but it sure came out then. Lorna that is one of my favoites, thank you.
Today is actually harder than yesterday. But the family seems to be doing well and that's what matters.
This really is not a good day at all. You would think by now I would be used to it. I wish God would blow up every cricket in the world. Sorry I guess pain brings anger and I feel so hurt and angry now. But your post have help alot.

Miss E, I'm so sorry. I know I'm late with this...everytime I came to post something happened to get in the way, and I wanted something special for your little girl. I'm not sure which way is easier to lose a glider, when you know it's coming, or when you don't. Neither one has been easy with mine-they all hurt when they go, even tho I know they're in a better place. I went through 3 or 4 of my altered songs looking for one for you, and settled on this one. I've been looking for the song itself for years, and no luck. So while I can't share the tune (which is beautiful, and has run through my memory for nearly 30 years), I can share the words: The Old Master Painter (by the Browns-I think) (one change to honor Molly) That old master painter from the faraway hills Painted the violets and the daffodils He put the purple in the twilight haze Then put a rainbow for the rainy days Dreamed up the murals on the blue summer skies Painted the midnight in li'l Molly's eyes
Captured the dreamer with a thousand thrills The old master painter from the faraway hills Then came his masterpiece and when he was through He smiled down from heaven and gave me you What a beautiful job on that wonderful day That old master painter from the hills far away
Jen/Colin Commander Riker 12 16 02-10 04 12 you will be FOREVER missed Sinbad, Gabby, Baby, and Alley

Becki, I wouldn't give a cricket if it floated down on a cloud. But that is me. You have to go with your hear and head. I give no bugs and wouldn't have a cricket in my house unless I could kill it. Since this started I have lost 28 gliers.

I am also very sorry. I never knew crickets were that horrible. Just hold your other gliders tight and you'll be alright.
