last night during tent time i zoned out watching tv for a bit and i heard a "thud" and knew immediately that Kanga had fallen from the top of the inside of the tent. I have the amazon tent and she always tries to climb along the top even though it's hard for her to get a grip. usually she gets half way, and looks down for me to come save her, but i wasn't watching and she must have slipped. she immediately went back to playing and doesn't seem to be in any pain and she's still launching herself off things so i don't think anything is broken. also, she doesn't glide yet, although i'm pretty sure she was upside down in the fall anyway. i've heard of other gliders taking some spills, should i be concerned?

I have the same tent and my Esther will some times jump from one side to the other and miss and land with a thud but shes up and running as soon as she hit. At first I worried too but I don't think these tent are really high enough to do much.

I have seen my gliders "miss" a few times but they always seem to land on their feet! I do always make sure they're okay, but as everyone else has said, they're up and running again right afterwards.

i do too but she made a pretty loud thug, for being such a small thing. i kinda hit my hand on the floor and even with the carpet and fleece it felt pretty hard. sh still seems ok so i'm thinking if anything was wrong i'd notice by now.

One thing you may consider doing is take a old comforter or heavy blanket and lay it on the floor first and then set your tent on top of it. This does 2 things 1 cushions an accidental fall such as the one you described, second it cushions ya behind from sitting on the floor.
Glad your little one is doing ok.

thanks, i can't believe i didn't think of that. well tonight we had tent time, and she was actually dropping from the top on purpose, into my waiting hands about 3 feet below. this makes me think that maybe she meant to drop last night. it's an exciting night for me...she made her first gliding attempts

You should hear the thud a glider makes when purposly jumping from atop the curtains and landing on the ground. Don't be concerned. My guy is a thuder, not a glider.
