I would never use cleaning products in my gliders cages! Even if it does say 'non-toxic' on the package, there are obviously chemicals in the sponges or they wouldn't clean the way they do. I spray the cage down with just plain water, let it sit for about 5-10 minutes and wipe it clean. Mind you, my cage is made out of plexiglass, not wire. I found with the wire cages, the urine always got outside the cage. They love the plexiglass cage! Here's a picture of it. My husband made it for them. The drawer on the bottom slides out and makes it very easy to clean. My little guys love the plastic leaves I've got on the top of the cage. They get new toys & brightly colored things in their cage all the time...

Thanx! The little cage on the bottom is just to hold toys that clip onto wire cages, and their water bottle clips onto it. They run around it, climb all over it, in and out, it's cute. I haven't been able to find a good way to hang the water bottle in the plexiglass cage. The suction cup holders don't work, this does, for now anyways.
