Hi all! Just wondering if blankies are a must? Do I have to have blankies for my suggies or can I simply bond with them in their pouches?? Thanx!

I keep a small piece of fleece on me during the day and put it in their pouches. Not sure if it does anything, but I read somewhere it helps the bonding.

They aren't a must, but it is an easy way of having your scent with them all the time and helps bonding. You can just get a remnant of fleece from a fabric store or Walmart and cut it up into pieces and then put it under your sheet and sleep it on them for a night until they smell like you and then just pop one in their sleeping pouch in the cage. After a couple of days take that one out and put a new smelly one in. Wash them and make them smelly again. Catherine
