All the recent talk about sick gliders being purchased from (PPP) Perfect Pocket Pets
and other large-scale breeders
reminded me that laws exist in many states to protect consumers who are sold sick, injured, or genetically defective pets. Here's a good link that describes some of the laws, though if anyone is considering persuing a lawsuit they should probably contact a lawyer or the state legislation to make sure they have the most current, correct information about lemon laws in their state. http://petcaretips.net/pet-lemon-law.html
Just wanted to post this as a "good to know" for anyone here who might not be aware that these laws exist.
(I hope this link is okay to post, I couldn't find a rule prohibiting it. Mods, please remove it if it's breaking any rules!)
