So Hubby and I may be making a trip to Michigan, and if we do, I will need to take everyone with me, since I dont know anyone who I trust to glider sit... SO - my question is - what do I use for my chewers? I have ONE cage that cannot be in a rept, bcause Brutus chews out... the other two cages are fine, so i could go with a smaller rept for travel. But I have NO clue what to do about bebe and brutus.... Any suggestions?

Get a small bird cage or hamster cage. I have one and it's strictly for travel. I won't hurt them to be in a smaller cage for a short period of time and the small cages aren't all that expensive. I actually have one of those silent spinners in that cage for a little extra excercise while in that particular cage.

Will that be big enought though? One cage will house 2, one cage will be housing 1 mom, and baby, and the third cage will behousing 3, mom dad and baby

I bought a hamster cage that had a wheel attached to the side of it when I had to go out of state for the weekend. I put mom, dad and baby in it and they did fine.

As long as they will only be in it a few days they should be fine - just make sure to include their pouches and some toys to keep them busy. I'd be careful of the wheels that come with hamster cages - they aren't safe for suggies as they can get their feet and tails caught in them, the silent spinners are small but they can't get caught in them and they're better than nothing for exercise in a smaller cage.
