Can anyone suggest a good gram specific scale that measures in 0.1? Im trying to find one to replace the one I have.

Problem Im having is all of the scales I have found that are capable of measuring in 0.1 are pocket jewelry scales that are way too small and some only measure up to 150 grams anyways.

So what do you all use, and can anyone point me in the right direction?

(I've seen what Walmart/Target has to offer as far as Kitchen scales that measure in grams, but have been told they actually go in increments of 2 grams even though the box says 1 gram)

You dont think its a little small at only 4.2" x 2.75"? I was thinking weighing a large adult in a pouch might be hard and/or inaccurate with over-hang? Oh I dont know, I could be wrong about that.

Doesn't say it has tare, but shows the cover being used as a tray which would lead one to believe it has a tare function?

I just dont want to make another bad purchase on a digital scale. The one I bought was $30.00 + shipping.

I use an Escali scale but it weighs by 2 grams, up to 13 lbs.

You could buy a large bowl and if you put it on top BEFORE turning the scale on then it shouldn't count the weight of the bowl, only what you put it in.

Then you just plop the glider inside to weigh him/her.

I have to put a box on top of mine and put the gliders inside because otherwise my gliders will just run off, lol.

I was wondering about that, but alot of them list an "overload" feature. I wonder if a bowl would trip that. Plus these scales that measure down to 0.1 have a surface of only 2-3 inches square sometimes. Thats REALLY small. Im checking out that link.

I wonder how heavy you can go with the tare functions. Id be too scared to try with a delicate scale like that, I'd be afraid I'd break the thing!

I finally found a 1000 gram scale that measures in 0.1 after looking thru 1600 scales on ebay... free shipping... only $50.00.... No way... I think I'll take good old walmart.

I got a postal scale at WalMart that messures by 1 gram increments. It cost about $25

I got this one for $30 with shipping on Ebay when I got mine. I LOVE it. Makes it so easy to weigh the gliders, plus it has a tare weight button so you weigh the pouch, hit tare, put them in the pouch, then it only weighs the glider.
