I can't believe all this has gone on since the last time i posted anything. You all work wonders (and very quickly I might add). I can totally drive him to Brenda, I'm a stay at home mother of 3 so depending on when this all happens I might have to drag my kids with me, which poor Brenda might see some terribly distraught children .
I am able to bring them where ever as soon as tomorrow. Just let me know.
Thank you all so much for such a quick and heart felt response. It's breaking my heart but i know this is the best thing possible for him.
Kelly, I just feel badly that I can't have him railroaded here...I most certainly WOULD do it, but right now my plate is heaping over. I had a huge challenge with Minka earlier this year (couldn't tell it from looking at her right now--she's completely healed) so I can sympathize with those "difficult to bandage" wounds. The picture won't "work" for me...that's a bit of a shame, because I could give you ideas on what to do.
I woke up this morning to find that Magellan's tail was turning black & in the 2 hours I waited my turn at the vet's, it grew 1/4" before my eyes
Then there's my most recent rescue (Rikki)...I literally have to move HIS cage from washer to dryer & back, depending on which appliance I'm using. And I spotted a little piece of fur missing off of HIS tail tonight as well.
I'll be keeping you all in my prayers. This community is just AWESOME when it gets a mind to "come together" to help someone!!!
Minkasmom (Papillon Kisses) Slave to: 25 gliders,4 cats, and ONE husband (can't handle two, lol!) Remembering all my lost loves
Brenda, I'll pitch in some money if you can drive him to someone in IA. I do understand what it's like to have someone not support you (my hubby) in your love of these little guys. If it isn't possible for you to drive him I will do it. I've only driven south of the twin cities 1 time but I can mapquest anything and I have a GPS that usually gets me where I want to go, lol.
Again, thanks to everyone for making this possible. I am totally awe-struck by everyone's generosity and commitment to these little guys. You have all won a place in my heart!
I am heading to bed now but will be up early tomorrow. Feel free to call any time in the A.M.

I'm sorry - I took a long nap this evening - am planning on going back to sleep soon so I am awake and ready to drive tomorrow. I am more than willing to drive to Kansas City, MO if needed and whenever needed - I am completely free and open (work understands my love for these little guys, so even if I need to miss some work, it's okay).
Val, I didn't see your post to call you until just now - Being that it's 1:45am here, I think it's too late to call you. Give me a call anytime day or night, doesn't matter how early or how late, and we can get this going. 612-220-6235 is my cell & I am more than happy to take a call at anytime.
Kelly, you're doing the right thing. You are a great glider mom and it's obvious how much you and your kids love your little ones.

I haven't called her yet. I was checking the posts for her phone number. I just sent her a PM with my number. They are all ready to go.
BTW, just so everyone knows - I don't have a cage going with them so you will need to meet the person droping them off to you with a cage. They do have a water bottle and food trays, toys, a towel with my scent, bonding pouch, sleeping pouches, etc. My cage was a loaner and I have to return it, I'm so sorry if this causes any inconvenience.

Okay, I am waiting for Kelly to get here and then I'll call Michelle to let her know we're on the way. Just talked to Val - I'll call her when we're on our way, too.
