So I have two gliders, one named Fuzz and the other named Scout. I heard Fuzz barking last night after I let them out for a while, so I went in to calm her down. Well she was on top of the cage, with the top door wide open. She's awesome in that she'll bark for me when something is wrong. Anyway, I put Fuzz on my shoulder and went looking for Scout. Our house is pretty big, but I looked for about 30 minutes and couldn't find her so I started watching tv. Another 30 minutes go by and I try to look for her again; no luck. So I am getting pretty anxious at this point because it's around 1 am. I set 4 plates of food out and put pouches by each one. I put Fuzz back in the cage and go to bed.

The next morning I see that she ate all the food off one of the plates but she wasn't in any of the pouches. I look for her briefly but then have to go to work. When I get home my dad and I comb the first floor for her for a while, and we still don't find her. at around 9:30 tonight my dad is upstairs and he finally notices her zoom by and try to hop down the stairs.

Omg, I was so stressed out about losing Scout. Gliders can hide anywhere and the fact that we never found her sleeping still gets to me. Just a reminder I guess to always double check that your cage doors are shut, even though I have accidently not shut the latch multiple times.

Glad you found her! I had a scare last night too. Had to chase one of mine down last night when he decided to run out of the glider room. I was [censored] out! Had my eye on him the whole time but they are so fast and can get anywhere. He didn't get far cause I threw myself on the floor to catch him cause he ran into the kitchen. Then I felt bad about chsing him and had to give him some treats.
