Hi. I currently live in PA and I'm interested in buy Sugar Gliders.
I've read many things saying that sugar gliders are in fact legal to have in PA, but have also read the same amount saying they aren't.
So here's the million dollar question: Are SG's legal in PA?
Any info you know would be great. thanks!

No they are not. They are not legal to bring against state lines, regardless of whom they come from, and they are illegal to possess.

Some sites claim that they are legal with a permit, but the permits have not been issued in many years.

thank you. I wonder why they are illegal. because they are exotic maybe?
eh. either way, thank you so much. I'd hate to get them and then have them taken away

Often they are illegal where they could survive and disrupt the (what's the word I'm looking for??) balance if they were let go or got out. Yes, people let their gliders go outside when they don't want them any more.
