I just received my Genji tent this week and have tried it out with the babies twice already. I know it's very popular with everyone so I'd like to know what you do about hanging toys. Any suggestions or photos of your set-ups would be appreciated!

Here's a picture that you can kinda see how I've done it: http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x276/flyingmarsupial/Rodan/S4020115.jpg

I basically just hand sewed some loops in there to hang from. smile

I don't have a genji, but I use drapery clips for my tent and my pop up travel cages. They have a hook on one side & an alligator type clip on the other. You can find them at Joanns by the jewlery making supplies.

Does anyone use large safety pins? Pin into seams, then hang toys? Are they suggie safe?

We use those triangle black office paper type clips that have the silver loops that fold back after you clip files & such. My daughter just squeezes them open & clips the loops of fleece items to those ridges that are in the top of tent.

I just got my Genji yesterday and I can't wait to get in there tonight. So safety pins are safe for suggies?

No, not unless they're supervised. If you're supervising suggies, they should be fine, and you can see if one comes loose, but in the cage, that's a no no

I bet I can get lanyard clips in the tent seam some how instead of safety pins. That's what I use in the cages.

I'd be very leery of anything that could put a hole in the tent, like safety pins or lanyard clips in the seam, especially with a glider swinging from it. There are too many other options that won't damage the tent. I've used the curtain clips like Lynn suggested. The binder clips, badge clips and sewn loops also sound like good ideas. agree thumb

I use smallish safety pins in mine. I put them at the seams in the corners, making sure to go through several layers. I hang the toys from them, and I usually just leave the hanging toys in place and fold the tent up.

I found curtain rings at Target that are an open ring with a small aligator type clip on them. They can be clipped to the seams in the Genji tent then toys can be hung from the hooks.
