I have tons of bamboo growing in the field behind my house so today while talking about it beginning to come over into my yard again my BFF tells me to give it to the gliders for toys. Well I hunt down that safe plants list & sure as the devil it's safe. SOOOOOOOOO tonight all my babies have big stalks of baboo complete with leaves to rip off in their cages. I tried getting some pics but everytime I open the cage door they jump out on me. I have one of Caspi thru the bars but I am hoping to get some good ones eventually. Ivy, Shanu, Snupi & Snuki are having a good time shredding the leaves. I got a few pics of the cages with the bamboo stalks in them & a couple of the babies enjoying the new toy! The bamboo was a hit & a huge shredded mess! That is too cute, and BIG fun for the gliders! I wish we had Bamboo growing near here. My girls have such a blast when they get fresh pear tree branches, I KNOW they would have a ball with that stuff!
Trigger, your gliders and their cages are WONDERFUL! What lucky babies to have such a dedicated Mommy!

I have wanted to put a fake tree in my large cages, but don't want to buy them...looking at garage sales and so on with no luck. But I love the Bamboo! Maybe I will have to get some of that!
