My Glider cage is about 5 years old. I can no longer get rid of the urine smell when I wash the cage. Has anybody had any luck soaking the cage in bleach or any other tips? What is your cage made out of? Wood? PVC-coated wire? Hardware cloth? We need to know more about your cage and how it was built before we can help you more with it.

If you cage is wood, I don’t think anything can help, I made the mistake of making my first cage of wood, and not treating it properly, that cage was at the street in three months… I know others have used Lemon juice to clean with, but like I said if you have wood you may not have an option.
