I know the feeling! My Mshki is also doing great! We will have to introduce them someday! lol They are both being hand raised and are the same age. He was 2 weeks oop on Sunday.

i have a question that i am hoping someone can answer. all the pictures of people feeding oop joeys shows the joey as furry and dry. well, lexi seems to be soaked after she is fed. i clean her and dry her, but i am wondering if i am doing something wrong or if there is something wrong with lexi. also, concerning bloat, what symptoms would i see if lexi had bloat. i dont suspect anything, i am just trying to be as prepared as possible. thanks!!

gliderma, i would love to introduce mshki and lexi to each other someday! They do have a lot in common. =)

On another note, last night, i tried the impossible and tried to reintroduce Lexi to her parents, under VERY close supervision just to see if they would take her back.
Well, they were thrilled to see her! They grabbed her and cuddled her and spent 15 minutes just licking her and cleaning her up. Maverick especially seemed to have missed his daughter.
So I was able to get her cleaned up and fluffy adn soft again, which is great! She looks adorable! However, her nursing was a failure. When she tried, Charlie hissed and pushed her away and made Lexi hiss and cry. I felt awful, so I had to remove her.
It was heartbreaking.
At least I was able to get her clean. She is again content and grooming in my bra.
and another sleep-deprived night is almost over....*sigh*

She Loves to give kisses. That and grooming are her favorite things to do. She has started crawling around a lot more now. it's so cute! my bestfriend came over today to feed her while I was able to take a much much needed nap. i feel so much better now!

Lexi is three weeks old!!! She is growing like a weed and already knows how to get mom's attention. She loves trying to crawl up my shirt at the most awkward times! Such as when Im' getting off work and I'm not technically supposed to have her with me...and pop goes her little head, out my shirt!! Oops, thankfully no one saw. hehe. She loves loves giving me kisses and if I try to pull away, she'll grab me with both hands to keep me in place. She sleeps all the time still and chirps in her sleep. She' getting quite fuzzy and grooms herself all the time! Thank you all for your support and well wishes. I will try to update with pictures when I can. Things have been crazy busy lately with school and the photography business. I have been planning to make candied apples for a week now and the stuff is still sitting on the counter as I look longingly at it as I feed little Lexi. Fall break starts today though so hopefully Lexi adn I will enjoy some quality time together.
