Is it ok to use chlorophyll bedding/ litter for my glider?? How about corn cob litter?

I wouldn't use corn cob because they will might try to chew on it and you run the risk of them choking. As for the chlorophyll bedding I am not to sure about. Is that the pine shavings that are colored green?

What about puppy training pads? I have heard that they are good to. My guy (Cactus, finally named him) likes to hide under it.

I think the right bedding to use will depend on whether your glider can reach it or not and whether there is a drop pan in your cage.

With a drop pan I've used paper towels, Carefresh, and nothing in the bottom. I didn't like the papertowels because my gliders would grab them through the bars and fling whatever was on them around. I really like the Carefresh as it absorbs ordor, but it can get expensive. Sometimes I use nothing to line the drop pan and just clean out each morning.

If there is no drop pan, I would recommend using pieces of fleece cut to the size of the bottom of the cage and shaking them out or replacing with fresh pieces each day. The down side of no drop pan if they will be walking around in their droppings and I think they are not very sanitary.

If the gliders can reach the bedding, don't use anything they could choke on it they chew it or could possibly be dangerous if they ate it.

I don't know about chlorophyl, but it doesn't sound good to me. You definitely want to stay away from corncob bedding - aflatoxin poisoning. Presently, I'm using the CareFresh and it does cost a bit, but it's better than having to clean the tray each morning with nothing in it. In a post sometime ago, someone mentioned using the paper from their paper shredder. Been thinking about trying that, just not sure it's safe. Some people use plain computer/copier paper or newspaper as long as the ink is vegetable based.
