There really is not a huge difference between a Black Beauty and a Classic Grey. To qualify as a BB, there are five criteria that need to be met:
1) Heavier black eyeliner
2) Black fur on the knuckles
3) Grey underfur on the belly
4) Heavier black striping, especially along the patagium
5) Black chinstraps that meet (or almost meet) under the chin
6) Black ears
Here are some pictures of my Carina, who is a BB...
This picture shows her heavy eyeliner, heavy black striping and chin straps:
In this one, you can see the heavy black striping on her patagium as well as some of the grey underfur on the belly:
This is another that shows her heavy eyeliner, heavy black striping and a bit of her black knuckles:

the blackest glider around is elvis that was born at
suncoast, lisa has a black beauty program going on.
if you go to suncoast and get their past newsletters
you will see the famous elvis.

he is very unique. if suncoast comes up with an all black
or almost black glider, i will probally be in line for one.
