everybody,
my husband and me checked leah out tonight and a joey leg/ thigh was out, it was all pink. joeys are due oop around may 1st.
when do they color up? her first set of twins showed dark tails only. could it be a leu, hopefully? or is it to early and it will color up.

i also think there are only 2 joeys in there, not 3 like i was afraid of, whew.

I've had joeys color up as late as a week before they're due.

my one set i thought was going to have a leu for sure and then around 9-7 days before coming oop there were dark lil tails

The legs are usually the last thing to color up. They are usually pink until a few days AFTER they are OOP.

I've had a joey that got all her color 2 days before coming OOP. Even her ears didn't have color. She turned out to be a gorgeous grey.

Leu babies have an almost... translucent look to their skin. When you see it, you know it's different. They are very pink, where a grey baby will have a tinge to the skin.

Nancy, didn't I show you the pictures of Lakota IP? That little brat was fully pink until 1 day before he showed that cute little face. I've got all my crossables, crossed for your first leu joey though.

I had to reformat my computer last week and still haven't found all my pictures ( that I saved somewhere I wouldn't loose them, that I have now lost ) but I found this one.

well i am seeing joey parts everyday now, hand, bodies(when
her pouch was open) no tails yet. anyway all i am seeing is
pink, no gray yet. they should be oop abt. 5/1 or anytime soon after. wish a tail would pop out.

Usually by now, if it is all pink and only had a few days till oop, it is prob. a leu. But if you are wrong about your dates, haven't seen the back or tail, there is no telling. Often wfb will have all pink legs till the very end.

I am hoping it is a leu for you.

we seen a tail tonight and it is black. that is okay they do have pretty wfb. one more tail to see.

it is exciting though.

I love playing the joey waiting/peek-a-boo game. It gets exciting waiting around for glimpses of body parts and hoping you can catch it on film before Mom stuffs them back in.

Love the new joeys! Love finding peek-a-boo body parts too!! I am dieing to have more joeys ip soon!
