I've had suggies for 3 years now (or is it 4?) and I'm STILL having a hard time determining whether the joeys are boys or girls!

This month alone, I've been blessed with yet another baby from Minka (on June 1) and Sachi's little one came OOP last night! But for the life of me, I'm still challenged in determining the difference between a slit & a bump on the tummy when they first come out of pouch! Maybe putting on my "reading glasses" would help?

I've been calling Minka's little one Max....and just discovered over the weekend that a more appropriate name would be MADELINE! Sachi's little one is DEFINITELY different, so I think the name MooShoo is going to STICK! (See what happens if you watch "Mulan" too close to a blessed event such as this? )

Names for babies are secondary to the fact that they're both HEALTHY!! I'm just thinking that I need to either build on an addition to the "glidertorium" or start emptying out a closet to get some extra space!

Alot of people get confused by the cloaca. Since it looks kinda like a male penis. But with gliders you don't sex them by looking between the legs... its on their bellies. There is a site with pictures on how to tell... let me try to find it and get back with you. So then you can compair pictures!

[:"green"]If you go to my page about Breeding Sugar Gliders then scroll about 3/4 of the way down, you'll see clear pictures that show the difference between a newly oop girl & a newly oop boy. Again, don't look at the cloaca - look further up the belly, to where you would expect a belly button to be...
