I'm in pennsylvania but I visit Jersey often. I will soon be looking for a breeder but not for a year or two, maybe more. I want to check things out, meet some people, see if a sugar glider is really right for me. I have been researching them for about 5 or 6 years now and I know I would love one but I have never seen one up close. I want to take my time with them and get comfortable before I jump into a 15+ year commitment. It is so true, though. I walk in the room and she literally jumps to the side of her cage, clinging to it, trying to stick her head through the spaces between the bars. If I don't immediately pay attention to her, she'll start excitedly biting every single bit of wire on the cage. I think she's trying to find a weak spot or something so she can come out to play. When she is out, she just has to see everything there is, no matter how many times she has seen it before. She's such a nut.

Haddonfield south jersey, I dont have a glider yet but im looking this summer for two babies

I am in Sussex County, New Jersey (up North by the PA border). Have had my 2 gliders for about a bit over a month now. Reached out to this site one escapee panic night (my 2nd nt.). Recently found out my gliders are from the famous pocket pet guys that I've have learned is not good and they are mill breeders. To late now. I will just continue to work with them and love them. Thus far, 6 months old they appear happy and healthy, eat & drink well. Fingers crossed.

Hey I am in Bergen County. I'd love to meet up with some of you. I have been hoping to get gliders for a while now and I attended the NorthEast and Beyond gathering last year but it was hard for me to tell if I had a mild allergic reaction to the gliders. I have a lot of animal allergies so I'd like to test myself a few more times before I commit to being a glider momma. If I could meet up with some of you that would be awesome! I'm in Jackson, NJ (Ocean County). Red Bank Veterinary Hospital is right off the Parkway exit 109 and they treat Sugar Gliders. I haven't had to use them for Crystal, but I have had a lot of experience there with my prior Rottweiler who had Bone Cancer. Excellent facility, excellent, caring staff. I'd highly recommend them!

Hey Lisa, I didn't get my boys yet. Should be home 11/23. From a breeder. Pocket Pets were in the Rockaway Mall. Its the first time I have ever seen them there. It sounds like they won't be around for awhile the way they were talking. I guess sell as many as they can and then scram I used to live in Lincoln Park , now in Succasunna
