sandbat OP Glider Guardian Joined: Aug 2008 Posts: 652 Dallas, TX	Laurie was losing a little weight, so I took her to the vet last week. She was still eating, running in her wheel, etc. Acting normally. I started trying to give her ensure. The vet said to keep and eye on it, was a little worried that she was breathing more heavily than usual, and told me to bring her right back if she didn't improve. She still seemed her normal self until about a day and a half ago. I took her back in yesterday, and the vet said she was anemic and to change her diet. She stopped eating entirely last night, so I gave her some ensure via syringe and some water. She passed away this morning around 7:30AM CST. She was sitting on my chest and she just started gasping. Then she was gone. The other two gliders, Rory and Dani, are fine - but I will be watching them very closely. Laurie, you were a great friend and you will be missed.
