They eat other bugs.

Leave them be.

Centipedes are predators that pray on other insects and in that respect they are useful BUT and I don't want to scare you:

Some species of centipede can be hazardous to humans because of their bite.
Although a bite to an adult human is usually very painful and may cause severe swelling, chills, fever, and weakness, it is unlikely to be fatal.
Bites can be dangerous to small children and those with allergies to bee stings.
The bite of larger centipedes can induce anaphylactic shock in such people. Smaller centipedes usually do not puncture human skin.

I would suggest to just squish them. thumb

there are centepedes that can kill adult humans. they are typically much larger than those usually seen, smewhere along the lines of 6" - 12" and about 1"- 1 1/2" thick. very fast and poisonous/ beware.

I had my fair share of run-ins with House Centipedes. I understand that they eat other bugs and can be useful in that respect. HOWEVER, if you are anything like me, you don't want to be living with anything having more than 4 legs!!!

House centipedes are extremely hardy and difficult to get rid of. I had my place professionally exterminated 3 times (I did not have sugar gliders at the time).

They are attracted to moisture. Keep humidity down as much as you can.

Keep your home clean (eliminate crumbs) in order to keep your home free of insects to reduce the house centipede's food source.

They are nocturnal. When I had them in my place, I slept with the light on. This helped a bit in keeping them out of sight.

I would put your glider cages outside, take your gliders with you, and bomb the place. To me, these guys are so disgusting. Trust me, I know your pain. Gross Gross Gross! shakehead cry :sorry:
