I am considering buying a Travel Carrier for my two little girls a bit ahead of time, http://www.petsmart.com/supplies/travel-...var_id=36-14335 , and that is the carrier specifically. Being a paranoid, or maybe a smart buyer, I have raided through the reviews. The most common complaint is that rats chew through the mesh.

Sugar Glider bonding pouches typically have similar windows on them, but I have NEVER heard of a Glider chewing through that. I don't think they'd chew through the Travel Carrier either, but what do you guys think?

I have three gliders and one of them is a chewer but for the most part gliders shouldn't chew threw the mesh

Some gliders like to chew for some reason and others don't. If you have 'chewers' you'd probably notice a lot of their plastic toys getting chewed up.

I agree with what's been said. However, that particular carrier as a very thin plastic lining. That would quickly get ruined by the gliders nails (even properly trimmed). I would search out a better quality carrier.

What if I lined it with fleece? Could that help at all?

How would you attach it? Personally, I would just buy something that would work without being altered. But that's just my opinion.

I'm just having a load of trouble finding something. I literally took hours looking- with hardly any outcome.
