I saw this post and almost cried, its such a sad sight to see. The thing that confuses me though, is exactly how the axle killed it, it looks almost as if it was stabbed by it. I hope this will help to show the true dangers that wodent wheels possess.

To me it looks like the wheel was dirty as was the axle. The gliders patagium got stuck to the axle and got wound up, breaking the gliders back.

But that is just my take on the pictures.

Yikes. I am going to immediately remove my wodent wheel. Between that picture and the fact that it is so difficult to clean I do not see any benefits in keeping it.
