Hello Everyone,
It has been a couple weeks since I've been here to post but wanted you all to know I'm ok. I have been feeling guilty has Stuart has not gotten tent time in these two weeks. Our little min pin foster pup got excited and jumped under my feet sending me [censored] over tea kettle down three stairs so I was and am bruised all over. With my arthritis it just made the fall worse.
Also my health has not been super over the last week or so. Anyway Stuart is growing we are still doing the bonding pouch, but he loves his sleep, we are as close as ever, he has still never bitten me. I am feeling guilty about not doing tent time. Is this unhealthy for him not to have it or will he be ok till I get back on my feet? Thanks

He should be just fine while you are recovering since you are still doing the bonding pouch and can have some touch time with him smile We all go through periods when for different reasons we are not able to interact with our pets/gliders as we would normally. They are usually sensitive to that.

So glad you are on the mend and were not very seriously hurt.

Oh my, I'm glad you're Ok!

Life just happens sometimes and our girls time with us seems to suffer but it will be fine. Between hubby and I we have 6 grown children, 14 grandkids, and a job that is very demanding occasionally.

As long as you're spending time with him he will be fine. Just watch him. Make sure he has things to do/ play with. You might want to change/ rearrange some of his toys out when you put his dinner in every few days. Gives him some time exploring .

Yes I clean toys and wipe down cage daily. I put up new toys or re string older ones. Do reset toys with treats etc... before feeding him at night. Thanks

Nikki, I'm glad you are doing okay, sorry about your fall.

I feel I have to agree with everyone else, you are still spending time with him, and that's better than nothing.

I understand the guilt feelings, my schedule is so wacky now, I am not doing well with out of cage play at all and feel horrible about it. I am not spending much time with my trio as I would like and unfortunately it's been this way far too often for far too long. I'm hoping I can get better with them, at times I feel so bad for them. They are getting good daily care, and I'm keeping their cage, nails, and such, but not enough interaction imo.
