I know it's prolly not cute stuff, but I didn't know where else to put it...<P>Ok, so the other night, me and my boyfriend were clipping Jeelee's nails..we were doing it in the living room, none of the cats bother her, usually. Well, somehow she got freaked out and ran up my shoulder and on to the cushion of the couch. Dante, my brother's cat was on her like white on rice. I don't exactly recall what happened after that except for the fact that I jumped over the couch because they were on the floor by this time, tried to catch Dante, but all I got was a handfull of hair. My boyfriend which was in my room at the time heard me and my mom screaming and came flying from my room and, well, tackled the cat, nearly missing Jeelee by inches with his knee. Well my Pom was standing by innocently until Jeelee jumped into his mane and then immediately jumped off and ran to the safety of my room. I ran/crawled after her and snatched her up. In the mean time, my boyfriend was having it out with the cat, he was in the corner and he was trying to jump over my boyfriend whom had thrown him in the corner (he loves Jeelee like his own child). He came outta the fight with deep scratches on his back from Dante spinning out on him. I was shaking and on the verge of tears cuz all I could think of was seeing Jeelee in Dante's mouth. Well the good news is noone got hurt except for the scratches that my boyfriend sustained. Jeelee was shaken up for at least 30 min all she did was sit on my stomach looking at me like "Mommy what in the heck was THAT?!?!" I felt so bad, like it was my fault, still think it is in some ways. Dante's nickname now is Jeelee hunter, I don't like him very much anymore. Ugh, what a night....

Ohhhh, poor Jeelee...is she okay now? Cat's are predators and don't ever trust them. Perhaps you can cut her nails with the door closed and don't let any cats in the room ever! since this story could serve as a warning to others...i think it would be great in the real stories section...so i hope you don't mind but i'm gonna move it there... <BR>glad it was just a near disaster and not a disaster....<BR>

Yeah she is fine... she's running around like normal now.. just gave us all a good scare. The thing was the cats were all asleep, we did this at like 2 in the morning.. figured they would have been tired by then []http://www.sugarglider.net/ubb/images/icons/smile.gif[/]. Oh well learn something new everyday.
