Judie,
Looch is not currently showing signs of dehydration, but we are keeping him hydrated also, and feeding him about every 4 hours unless he is hungry earlier will eat. He will take BML, water, pedialyte, ect. by syringe but so far nothing on his own from a bowl in his cage. He does take mealies by hand though.
I will not be posting on this thread further, but I will let anyone who is interested and PM's me how Looch is doing if they let me know.
I have asked Jeramy to start a new thread on Looch if he wants too.

Angie and Melanie...
You did all the right things for Coco to help him live..he was just to far gone to save. When people down you or question what your doing or did ignore it. They are not there with you and know the love you have for the gliders..
the time you give in caring for them...or the money you pay
to try to save them. I know...because I see you both and talk to you regular on the phone. Remember...the outside
world doesn't see the heartbreak you feel when a sick glider
comes in...the desperation you go through to save it's life...the tears you shed if you lose it...the beautiful
feeling you experience if you save it. There will always be
people who want to give you a hard time...but so very many
more people stand with you.

To every one else...I know these ladies. They are doing a
wonderfull job and never turn a glider away. The only fault they have is being human with human feelings. Yes...they get upset...because they are fighting for the gliders. Before you down them ask your self...would I take almost a
hundred gliders sick or well and still leave your door open
for another? Would I give up what I need to help the glider?
None of us are perfect...the one thing we all have in common
is our love for the gliders...isn't that enough reason for us to stand together for the good of the glider and not to
waste our time arguing?
No...I'm not off topic. They did everything they could for
Coco to help him live. No stone was left unturned. Stand with them...don't make them be hesitant on helping another.
It's the glider you'd be hurting.

Mary

Hey guys you have done a great job helping coco's family. Don't forget everyone has been hurt by the loss of this little one. Hope we can find out what was wrong with him.

Jeremy,Jamie, Angie, Mel - I am so sorry for the heartbreak you have endured. I send prayers to all of you for healing, and special thoughts to Looch for strength. You all did everything humanly possible for Coco. You know it, I know it, Coco knows it, and most importantly, God knows it. That's all you need be concerned about.

Mary, thank you for coming and posting, and thank you for being there to guide Jamie, Jeremy, Angie, and Mel and they fought for Coco's life and as they continue to fight for Looch's. I am so thankful that we have you and Charlie's expertise and vast experience to turn to in situations like this.

Angie... girl, love you to bits. You are fighting so hard for these poor little souls. Thank you.

We are all very emotional over the situation, and I know everyone wants to see this baby live. None, I'm sure, more than his family (Jamie, Jeremy, and the sweet boys), and those helping them fight for him day in and day out (Angie and Mel). I know how hard they're trying. I'm sure we all know.

Let's all please keep that in mind when we post, or when we PM. We need to choose our words carefully, as they are being taken to heart. I know that when suggestions are being offered (via PM or otherwise), that they are being offered to try to help. But please, when offering them, be aware of how the tone of the words might be taken. Everyone is doing their very best here, and hurting their already frazzled feelings isn't going to help anyone.

Thanks, just needed to get that said so that hopefully some of the behind the scenes "stuff" will change course.

I wish I had some great medical advice to give, but quite honestly, I know that having Mary and Charlie Holcombe's advice and guidance is the best gift I'd ask for in a situation like this.... and that is something you've had from the start.

I am starting a new post in this forum about Looch. I would like to have this thread closed if possible.

We love you and miss you CoCo!
