LOL – well I just had to resurrect this post …. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />

I know that this post was the inspiration for the Gliderese contest at this past years SGGA and unfortunately I was not able to attend …..

but Last night I dreamed about you all at the contest …. I actually was catching a re-run of it on public access TV – can you believe it, Not that I know what any of you look like but in the dream as each person came up to the stage it had your GC screen name flash on the bottom of the screen …. In the dream I kept yelling at Bowman “Oh and that is ‘insert GC name here’, and there is ‘GC name’, remember I told you about her…” well I guess I sometimes have an over active imagination…..

<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shakehead.gif" alt="" /> I listened to the sounds on one of the links and my boss looked at me like I was a lunatic. I couldn't believe it. I just told him, "It is a new language that I am trying to learn." Smiled and went back to clicking, crabbing, and hissing. It was funny. He just laughed and then asked what country dialect I was trying to learn. I said Gliderese is the language. He said that he thought that he had heard it before. I couldn't come up with a country area fast enough. I finally said I thought that it was a little country in Europe called Glideopia. He said that he thought he had heard of it on the Discovery channel. I don't think that I have laughed so hard. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/roflmao.gif" alt="" />

He asked me this morning how my "lessons on gliderese" were going? He said that he and his wife talked about it last night over dinner. He said that she had even heard of Glidopia but thought that it was in Africa not Europe. I think that she may have gotten confuse with Ethiopia!

WOW! I just tried the T thing but I think I did it wrong(more like a hissing sound) but it still worked! He was in his pouch nibbleing on my finger and I just went tssstssss and he stopped and walked wright up and started listening!

I really don't know if my glider will ever be ok with me and bond. The tssst thingy does work, but I found that if the light is too bright and she's crabbing, it won't do any good. It's like she wants to trust me, but she won't for some reason.
