I have 2 females about the same age, the older one is a bit smaller (she is about 9 mos oop the other is 8 mos) tonight i was watching them and the littler one was positioned above the other one and was grabbing her head and rubbing her head all over the bigger one's chest? What on earth was she doing? The one being rubbed was very calm like this was not disturbing her at all.

it's marking. on males there is a scent gland on their chest, and they mark their females by grabbing the female's head and rubbing it on their chest. are you sure they're both girls? it could be a dominance thing, i guess...or maybe just an instinctual behavior that came out because of the lack of a male glider's presence.

Yes I a POSITIVE they are both girls. That or i have a boy with a pouch. And i knew that is where the boys scent glands were. But one was rubbing her head on the other ones chest, maybe she IS just being dominant...she is the bossy one of the two.

sounds normal to me. I sometimes think the girls don't realize they don't have the chest scent gland. As long as neither seem to be upset by it (or anything) just sit back and enjoy! I think their behaviors are sooo adorable.
