I have my two boys and they seems bonded. I can pet them and hold them in my hand inside the bondingpouch. And pet them when they are free in the room. They also like to be on my body.
But they dont let me hold them...
Is it maybe because they understand that I want to get them in my hands, to take them to the cage?!
How can I learn them to like to be held??
I tried yesterday to just hold the glider like a ball in my hand, but he got angry and tried to bite for the very first time

Some Gliders just DON'T like to be held in the palm of a hand. Mine don't either. Ptherwise tey are completely bonded, just don't like to be held in a hand. For the biting you might want to try licky treats
Good Luck

I have one that doesn't mind being scooped up in an open hand but hates to be held in a hand. Usually if I show him his cage he will go in or I can lure him in with a treat.
So I agree with Kaitos1 some gliders just don't like it.

generally gliders should not be kept in small encloses spaces where they cannot get out. Thats what it sounds like when you say you were holding them as a ball. I personally pick up my gliders and hold them like a sausage, so they are more cumfy. They get used to it. Our bigg cuddle bug, Nibbler, doesnt care at all. All of them are perfectly fine with it. They get used to it in a few weeks.

Gliders are not pets that you can generally hold in your hand, it is not how they work. They like to be holding you, not the other way around. Most gliders just climb all over their owner's body. Wrong pet if you are looking for a cuddly, sleepy, slow pet. They are mini racing machines.

Mine don't let me hold them in my hands. They prefer to go to the middle of my back where I can't reach them.

I have 2 gliders and my mom has 2 also. I think all gliders have different personalities. Some (like my Kahlua) are very independent and like to be in control at all times. When she is on me she is still in control but If I am holding her she is not in control so she fights to get free. sounds like you just have an independent glider.

Yeah, mine are the same - the only way I can ever "hold" them is if they're really sleepy.

Just the nature of the beast - it's not an indication that they don't love you . . . .

All my kids are VERY tame, since I've had them all since they were very young and got them from a good breeder(s)All of them let me cup them into a ball in my hand. It could be 4am playtime and they would still let me.

I would think you could start cuping them in the pouch and then during sleepy time take them out and cup them.. just take it slow day by day and they might not mind it as much.

Good luck

You are one lucky person, GMC! ALL of mine are speed demons & won't even sit in my hand if they were half-asleep!! I've just gotten used to the fact that the grown-ups will respond to calling their name by jumping on my arm or shoulder, but that's the best it gets. Wanna pet to hold for hours on end, get a KITTEN!! (meow)

I stareted mine out by letting her fall asleep in the bonding pouch while i was petting her. Then i would slowly being to pick her up so that she was sleeping in my hand.. finally i would slowly begin to pull her out of the bag. She is asleep in my hand and when she wakes up i am petting her and giving her treats and she knows that my hands are an okay place to be.

i've done the same thing too litbitsmom! keep up the good work..i just got mine almost 2 weeks ago. and now i stick my hands in his cage and he doesn't crab @ me anymore. he does however run away from me, i give him a little bit of time and he will get into the pouch for some bonding time on his own. i've started petting mine inside the pouch and he doesn't mind last night i pulled him out just a little and he didn't crab or anything. making progress everyday!
