I've read different things on wombaroo milk replacer and puppy milk replacer. Some say that you should use the wombaroo and not the puppy milk replacer. And then others say that it doesn't matter. I am tight on cash and my little girl Nixie is pregnant again. I am making an emergency care kit and I want to make sure that I have everything that I need. The puppy milk replacer is more in my budget than the wombaroo. Would it really make that much of a difference if I use the Puppy Milk Replacer instead of the Wombaroo Milk replacer? Will my joeys be just as okay if I use the puppy milk replacer? The last litter that Nixie had, she rejected and I was heart broken when I couldn't save them soon enough so, I want to do everything in my power to make sure that these new little ones survive. Thanks for any info. anyone can send my way!

I personally have had better luck with puppy milk replacer than wombaroo. My gliders didn't seem to like it much when I sprinkled their food with wombaroo and would eat around it. When I sprinkle puppy milk replacer over their food, it's usually the first thing they go for

Good preparation, as any Boy Scout will tell you, is the best prevention. You may also want to make som Baby BML just in case....I also keep a bag of pellet food that I soften with some of the yogurt drink for the adult gliders, when we loose power and the freezer thaws....

[:"green"]Personally, I use Brisky's Booster Milk. But when I had to hand-raise a joey for the first time, I used puppy formula and it worked just fine. If you are on a tight budget, go ahead and get the puppy formula. Also, if you are preparing for the possibility of rejection, please check out my Hand Raising A Joey page. Unfortunately, I have had quite a bit of experience with this and so I decided to share my knowledge to try to help others...
