She has an appt at 4 today. He wants to try to draw blood again. She acts better today actually. so we shall see. not staying as wet...................

well he still could not get a good enough blood sample from the neck or tail. He wants me to keep doing what I am doing........Now I am off to go bug Melinda about how to make diapers.......she is still incontinent of urine.

i truly do hope that holly starts getting better soon. this must be the worst time ever for you w/her,when the vet can't help because of being stumped by why this is still going on,& not being able to get a good enough blood sample to test would have me going ga-ga!
our emotions are all w/you & holly.i do know how you feel, so helpless,&confused. just getting her thru each day has been wonderful. i have no doubt that you will be able to pull her thru all this. i'm sorry i haven't been more supportive to you,i have been reading & keeping up w/this since last dec.,& you have been on my mind,sometimes it is hard for me to reply,or be a good supporter,because i get myself so emotionally(mentally)involved,that i feel if i were to answer,i could very easily say all the wrong things.

She is not looking to spiffy today ......... I have 7 patients to see..........I am a little behind so off we go. torb in hand. her eyes are not open and bright. she is cold again. she will not eat more than a few licks at a time and coughs with that. I was hoping yesterday was a turning point but it might have been her last rally so to speak ..........happens with people too.

Cora, since she had a UTI...find out if he can do a check on her bladder...Remember, I lost Bug to a Urinary Bladder Infection. Although I didnt have the signs you are having, it has raised my awareness to the bladder now instead of just the kidneys.

How would he do a check on the bladder??? I mean what kind of a test???? I think he or Tara one called Dr. Tristan on this last week but I cant swear to it.

They can extract urine directly from the bladder via syringe and test it.

Thats what I was going to say too Val...you are too quick.

Cora, have Tara call Tim again and find out what he would suggest if anything different...I dont think there would be, but who knows. (also, tell her I said howdy)

I would say about the same. no, MizValories mom attemted to make one............just something to wick the urine off of her but it did not work with her tiny body and squirmy back legs kept getting out of it. but she gave it a heck of a shot! her eyes seem a little brighter and she wakes up a little more often.............sleeps in my hand most of the time snuggled against my neck. she still gets cold if she is in the cage /cagepouch for more than an hour. havnt had to give her any pain medicine since yesterday morning. her respirations still seem rapid and have been all week.

Oh Cora... I keep coming back to this thread hoping things have gotten better. I am thingking of you and your little girl, and I am lighting a candle for your baby...
