w00t! So my girlfriend and I went to FL for christmas vacation. One of the traditions that my brother and sister (they live in FL) go through every time we meet up, is we get tattoos together (not the same ones), So my sister got the batman logo on her upper back (Cost like 800 bucks,is a foot wide), my brother got a portrait of our grand father on his bicep, and my girlfriend got the name of her cat that passed on the back of her neck.
But I, on the other hand, got a glider tattoo Saw a post on here about them, and saw some cool designs. So I basically took this cool tribal one that I saw from a post, and re-vamped it with my type of tattoo design. Its still tribal like the original, but alittle more sketchy.
Please link to the origina thread if you know it, I couldn't find it again to give credit to the original artist (Even though mine is totally different.
I am putting a picture of my drawing for those of you that are looking for one, just PM me for a high resolution picture. All I ask is that you post a pic, and give credit where credit is due.
Oh, and dont get it on your neck.... Not only is that where I got mine done, but its 1.5-2 hours in the chair getting a tattoo on one of the most painful places to do so.
I love tattoos! That is a nice one. I've been considering a Suggie tat for a while. If I do it will be in the likeness of my first glider though. He's my special guy. I usually draw up my own, but I'd be too afraid to do my Suggie-guy.
That's some pretty awesome ink man! The design is really nice. But I don't agree with what you said about the neck. Yeah, it takes longer cause the skin is so thin and hard to stretch. But the pain part is relative. I have one on my collar bone that almost made me pass out, but the one on the side of my neck didn't even burn. Weird...
i got a tattoo on my chest/collar boen area and I almost fell asleep getting it! Well, except for when he hit the colar bone my whole [censored] body started vibrating...ouch!
I guess painful areas differ with person. The only painful part was the hand and the closest parts to the front. Everything on the back part of the neck was fine. Like for instance, many people say that getting the inside of your lip tattoo'd is the worst of all. But mine didnt hurt THAT bad, I mean it stung.... but thats it

Awesome tatt, love the design!!
Yeah, something about that collar bone area is seriously OUCHIE! LOL My hummingbird is almost directly under my ear, so not anywhere toward the front.
Wow! That is beautiful! Our cousin is in town this week, and she and her immediate family have the same tradition! She just got a whole set of stars across her back, to depict each birthstone of each person in her family.
Do you wear your hair up much?? Will it be seen often, or do you have to "show" it? Just wondering.
Looks like you had a great vacation, Oh, and, did you get Skittles yet??? (I know, off topic, you could PM me!)
Had an AMAZING vacation! I never wear my hair up, But then again its usually not this long... Usually just to the bottom of my ears. Im going this afternoon to go get skittles :-D Wish me luck!!!
OMG. That tat is huge. I got one done this year from shoulder to shoulder, OMG, I thought I'd die after I passed out. My husband watched so I had to be brave. He said he wouldn't have even had that done. I have one on each leg, 2 on my stomach, and 2 on my back. you go girl!
Wow, I love it, I would like to have that picture blown up a bit more and hung on my wall. Sorry I am not one for tattoos, I think I am just too chicken, but I love art on my walls! Does that count! LOL

In a way its the same thing Except tattoo's are permanant and instead of walls on your home, its the walls of your body
Thank You, I had been looking for something to put on the side of my thigh. I wanted something to do with gliders but I hadn't been able to find very much. Now I have some ideas.
