LOL Shelly... I find my girls behind the Stealth all the time. Bella likes to get behind it and make it spin with her feet on the back and her back against the cage bars. Not sure why... But I am fairly certain nobody will get "stuck" back there. My Donna is a fluffy girl, and she gets in and out with ease. smile

Can you post a pic of your toy?

Both my cages have silent spinners in them. One night the one silent spinner was not so silent so I got to looking at it really carefully. The part that attaches to the cage kind of screws into the yellow part in the middle. It can get loose. Someone said they found theirs had fallen off in the morning. I make sure I check their wheel daily, just like pouches and toys. If its loose you can tighten it back up really easily. I noticed that when it was lose the wheel seemed to spin lopsided and created a gap between it and the cage. This might also be how the tail injury happened. I know my gliders tails wont even fit between the wheel and the cage. Neither of my gliders seem to have a problem holding onto it, but they also don't have a lot of tread.

As for different colors being for different sizes, that isn't the case. It's random. I know they sell these at Petsmart if anyone wants a better look at them.

I use the biggest you can get for my SS. LoL!

These are the small and mediums.

I no longer have them. Connie's baby is getting his learning enjoyment from the green one. <3]

And here's a picture of the biggest SS that I have been able to find. In Fuzzy and Hammy's cage.... Back when it was Luna and Fuzzy and I had first purchased the wheel. =[

If I was you, I would def go with the best advice. Just tally up the pros and cons that everyone has for each whel. grin Good luck in finding one!

I have 2 of the Silent Spinner and have never had a problem with either one. One is a medium and the other is a large. I also have 2 stealth wheels, again no problems. Then I have one Wodent wheel, each time I clean it I put baby oil on the center where it connects and haven't had a problem. No one of them is any noiser than the other.

It is definitly a matter of which one you feel more comfortable with. One of my gliders is blind so I put the wodent in with her. She tends to fall out of the others since she can't see where she's going, lol.
