Depends...are you looking for something free or to pay? AVG is one of the better free anti-virus software programs. Pay: Kaspersky is excellent! IMO, stay away from Norton. While their program is strong, it takes up SO much space and slows your system to a crawl. Or, you can go one step better, drink the koolaid and buy a Mac!

LOL, can't afford a new computer.
I had AVG before but had issues. I "dumped" my computer early on this year and just don't want to have to go through that again. It is a PAIN to reload everything.
I'm not having "computer issues" right now that I know of, just want to prevent them from happening again.

Nooooooooo......... I HAVE a Mac and wouldn't go back to a PC if they strung me up by my toenails! LOLOLOLOL As far as free-ware, other than AVG, I'm not really sure. For one at cost, I'd go with Kaspersky...there's gotta be someone else with some other ideas! *chanting* Mac, Mac, Mac...LMAO

Avast is awesome, I've had it since I got my laptop with the first Windows Vista launch. Never had to pay for anything, always cleaned up my system.

When my system recently crashed and I took it in, they installed Panda Antivirus on my computer. Works quick and smooth.

I recently started using kaspersky. So far so good. I got it on amazon for a lot cheaper than Norton.

Ok, need input from computer people please.
What is the best anti-virus software? anti-malware? anti-spyware etc?
What is the best to use to "clean" your computer?
Dump windows and use Linux
