And what's so AMAZING is that while she's making those noises, she's literally VIBRATING from head to toe!! Like it's a "joey's lullaby"! That's the noise I listen for when Minka's little ones are due to come out!

From what I can tell, it's actualy then vibrating to lighten the grip (not remove the grip)the joey might have on the teat. The sound, "owowowowowowowowwww" is my interpretation.

[:"green"]Looks like you got your answer! Singing is really amazing to me. Usually, they start singing to the joeys when they are within a week or two of coming out of pouch.

I'm going to move this over to Breeding & Babies cuz that's really where this thread belongs... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Zarya I couldn't stop laughing! There is definetly a difference in singing and the chitting (oweey sound). Alot of people mistake the chittering for singing because they do sound similar. Singing is a sweet sound though not one of pain. I agree that they sound like they ar ein pain when chittering and they start this a week or so before the joeys come oop to about 3 or 4 weeks oop. Same with singing!
