Do your gliders have a favorite toy? If so which toy is it? I would love to see pictures. I am trying to get an idea of what else I can put in my gliuers cage. Right now it seems that the only things they get a real kick out of are toilet paper tubes and straws.
Mine love bamboo branches (not really branches cuz' of the way bamboo grows, but can't think of another word). I think that is probably their favorite "toy." My girl loves her wheel. And they both really like a toy I made out of plastic canvas, fleece, and bells. I think they really just like the bells... Out of the cage though, they love feathers.
I think the stealth has to be the favorite at our house. Then after that they goof around on the hammocks and love straws also.

Pika loves all her toys <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/agree.gif" alt="" /> but the one she loves best is her weebles <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/muchlove.gif" alt="" /> She gets on them and goes side to side <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/multi.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/roflmao.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/multi.gif" alt="" />here is pika playing with her weeble
I have some of those little balls with bells in them that you can buy in the cat section at Wal-Mart. I fill them with Cheerios and my boys just have a blast getting all the cheerios out! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> Of coarse I wouldn't give them that every night. It is a real treat!
You can get weebles at walmart or any toy store or sometimes yard sales <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/agree.gif" alt="" /> They are a toddlers toy <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dance.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/multi.gif" alt="" />
Mine like a simple linked chain of cable ties. It's about the only toy other than his wheel that Nicky will play with on his own. He will climb through it & grab it with his tail & try to drag it back to his pouch.

I bought a Fischer-Price pirate ship for toddlers from the toy store and have it suspended on the back wall of my gliders' cage with a bunch of zip ties. I think it cost just under $20. Since it's plastic, it's easy to wipe clean daily and I cut it down every other week and run it through the dishwasher. I have some pictures of my boys playing pirate on their ship but haven't uploaded them yet.
We all love it so much that I'm on the lookout for some kind of castle to put in their cage next.
My general rule of thumb is to think of gliders like toddlers who like the cardboard box better than the toy that came in it....simple is always good....Gizmo likes his Barrel of Monkeys and those little pom-pom balls you can get in a craft section/store....I bought all these complicated toys for him and his favorite thing to do is sprint around his cage with a pom-pom in his mouth....go figure.......
