As i was reaching into Arctics pouch to love on all of them, I pulled out his little girl. I was all giving her kisses and felt something cold on my finger. i though maybe there was a poo poo on me, so I went to flick it off and realized it was PINK. A million things went through my mind wondering what my gliders could possibly be sick with.... then it clicked... it wasn't some diesea, it was a baby joey that didn't make it to the pouch
I am shocked that they didn't just eat it since it was already dead. Anyway I decided to take some pictures... I put it next to a pea to let you see how TINY they are when they are born.

I know it's sad but interesting at the same time. I believe when I did this with Ruffles I had a boy and a girl. One of them had a small white dot right by the base of the tail. They were identical except in that one tiny way. I'm sorry for your loss but glad you posted so others can learn from it.

Thank you for sharing those pictures as I am sure it was not easy for you. It is interesting for us all who have never had joey's. Also comparing it to the lines on the paper give you a good feel for the size. Thank you again
Have a Good Day Brenda & Mr. Magoo
Friendly Reminder please have an e-collar ready before you need it......

Sorry about the poor little guy though.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming WOOOO HOOOO, WHAT A RIDE!!!

I am so sorry your little one did not make it to the pouch. I never knew they were that small. Whille I know it had to be hard to share, I really appreciate you posting the pics. It helps us get a little more educated when it comes to our babies

Good news... One joey did make it into mommas pouch. So Breezy has one on the way. Shimmer also has one due out about 1-2 weeks before Breezy
