Hey Shannon, so good to see you back!! Working a schedule like that must be tough, those are so long hours!!! I bet you're just over the moon about Skittles. You really did an amazing job nursing her back to health, and she's going to be just fine now with a little extra food lol! Congrats to you and give both your girls lots of hugs and kisses today! Auntie Aimee, I bet you're sad to see them go...I'm sure Shannon will keep in touch and let you see the girls whenever you want . It's really awesome that you were able to help out....

LOL he must be really sweet than!!! Yeah I am a server for Famous Daves and I can only work weekends cause my husband works till 7 every night during the week. So ALL my weekends are that long It is rough but the money is good. Oh I am more than over the moon about Skittles doing so much better!! I can not wait to see her and see how much better her pouch looks! I am just so happy that coco and her can be together in the same cage cause they were just sooo sad to be separated. Aimee did such a great job making sure that they did good together over night! Now that she is eating again I will be sure to give her lots of extra's to get some weight back on her! And Aimee see's the girls a lot lol!! We get together often to hang out and talk glider! Its nice to live so close!!

MY GIRLS ARE HOME!!! Skittles was so happy to see me!! I took her out and she instantly DOVE down my shirt and made herself at home. Aimee and I thought that was great lol!! Her pouch looks SO much better!! I will definitely continue to update and will be in touch with Dr. Medlin tomorrow to make her a recheck appointment!! I was telling Aimee that over the weekend while I was at work I missed the monkeys so much that I was keeping my cell phone in my bra just to have something there cause I was missing the feeling of them being in there lmao!!!

Glad they are home safe and that Skittles was so happy to see you. You deserved that dive. Now as for the cell phone, that is one of the glideritis side effects I have not heard off... Glad her pouch is looking so much better.

Skittles is doing AWESOME!! She is attacking me once again for mealies and is just the most loving little girl to mommy now!! During tent time she does not want to leave me and if she does she jumps right back to me every few seconds lol!! She is definitely my sweet little princess!! I took her off her meds today and her pouch looks AMAZING. If I can get a pic of it. I will post it later today when my hubby is home and can help me!! Sorry it took a bit for me to update! I was under the weather the last few days and had a REALLY bad stomach bug But am feeling much better now thankfully! I will be scheduling a re check for her next week. I was going to do it yesterday but I was way to sick to leave the house. I am so happy that she got better! I was so worried for a while that she was not going to make it. I was literally afraid every morning to come down stairs to see if she was ok. I actually made my husband do it a few mornings cause I was to scared to see something that would just rip me in two. You always read about all these sad stories and feel so bad for all the gliders that dont make it and then you thank god that your babies are ok. I did not think that I would have to go through anything like that right now or in the near future but I am so glad that I had my glider family to help me thru it and that was there IMMEDIATELY when I needed help! You guys are fantastic!!! Now that I had that scare it has definitely changed my whole outlook on having gliders and know that when something happens you need to act very quickly and calmly and have the means to do so. I am currently putting 20 dollars of my money that I make every week serving (I only work Saturdays and Sundays) into an account for them and will permanently continue to do that and build an emergency account for them. I don't want to EVER have the feeling of not being able to get them to a vet b/c my husband says we have NO money to. That will just not happen to me again!! When every one tells you that you NEED an emergency fund. You really do!! I was lucky my brother and Dad were there for me to help me out!! I LOVE MY GIRLS AND I LOVE MY GC FAMILY!!!

Shannon, I have been following this thread and I can't tell you how thrilled I am that your little girl is so much better! You did such a great job taking care of her and making sure she wasn't in any pain, so hugs and kudos to you!!! You're right, an emergency fund is super important. I have one and luckily haven't had to use it yet, but as you said, it would be a terrible feeling to know that one of your babies needs medical care and you don't have the money for it. Good for you for putting away some money each week, it really will make you feel more at peace. Keep the updates coming on little Skittles, I'll be waiting to hear how she's continuing to improve!!!...HUGS!!
