So...I tried to make a no-sew fleece vine ( the "fringe" kind, NOT the braided rope! ), but failed quite miserably! I stink at this kinda stuff! Would some kind soul, PLEASE, post instructions that can be followed by someone with the craft-ability of a toddler?! -Alicia

The only two ways I can think of both involve chain... One would be to just cut strips and tie 2-3 ties on each side of each link of chain. Easy, strong and would wash well. The other, would be to make a long strip like I do when making my mobiles: http://www.thegliderplayroom.com/webstore_mobiles_tutorial.phpThen instead of tying it around the dive ring, tie it around chain. You might be able to do it even without the chain and have it still work, but the chain would be a lot stronger. You could also use two layers, cut fringes on both sides, and tie it around the chain (more fringe= more fluff). I would guess to probably use about 4 times more fleece than the length of the chain, since it will bunch up and be fluffy. You'd probably need to anchor the fleece at the ends somehow, either tying it between the ending links, or using a big link that the fleece won't work itself over.
